The recent increase in property developments on Boa Vista Cape Verde means that there is now a real variety to choose from. Your budget will clearly decide whether you go for a studio apartment or a Villa with private pool, but what other decisions need to be made?

All of the developments listed below are within 15 minutes drive of the airport at Rabil, so there is no need to worry about long transfer times. The main town of Sal Rei currently has all the best shops, restaurants and bars so if you need to be in walking distance of these facilities then you need to consider the developments on Cabral Beach or Estoril Beach. However if you want to be able to enjoy the warm Atlantic Ocean (especially with a young family) then the calm sheltered waters of Estoril beach will be better than the more rugged exposed beaches at Praia Cabral.

If you really want to get away from it all then the Palm View Resort, on the spectacular Chaves Beach, or the Oasis Village, behind the hills to the north of Sal Rei, will be more to your taste. However these developments are no more than a 10 minute Aluguer ride away from the facilities at Sal Rei.

In time with the construction of new roads around the island there will be even more choices to be made, with new developments planned along the fantastic beaches on the south coast of Boa Vista and greater accessibility to the more inland towns it is guaranteed that the choices will continue to grow.
